first photo is an Altha weave done with fine yarn still stretched on
The next one is woven with a slightly heavier yarn after it is taken off the loom and tension released.
The third shows the Altha weave done in black yarn. You canseehow loops are formed at the top edge.
Each loop is pulled down to the length of fringe, cut and tied off at the bottom.
The fourth photo is of a small experimental weaving with Altha weave done in three directions.
The red in horizontal and the white in vertical and diagonal weaves.
